Prudential Retirement Senior Leadership Team Builds at Village |
|

HARTFORD, CT, May 14, 2012 – As part of a team building effort, Prudential Retirement Senior Leadership volunteered their time at the Village for Families & Children's main campus off of Albany Avenue in Hartford. The group of 15 Senior employees worked together and painted and washed over 15 vehicles used for transporting residential children to and from school and to appointments. Vourn Vigneault, Property Manager at the Village, was very grateful to have the additional help from a "group that was very productive and careful in the work they did."
Jared Moore, Chief of Staff, who led the group of 15, said, “We wanted to do a team building event that also gave back to the community. We thought of the Village because the cause is great and it is easy to rally everyone around the needs of children. We all agreed that not only was it a fun time but we got to know each other very well and felt good about the work we did afterwards. I think you may have gained some lifetime volunteers after today.” The group was put together by Prudential Retirement senior leadership to provide council to the senior leadership on matters of employee engagement. The team consists of a diverse group of individuals from all areas of our retirement business from all over the country: Hartford, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Florida and California. The name of the group is called eeLAB. (Employee Engagement Leadership Advisory Board).
