Brian P. Reilly, Board Chair
Brian joined Travelers in February 2002 and currently is Senior Vice President and Chief Auditor for the Company. He managed the department through the spin-off from Citigroup and merger with The St. Paul Companies since beginning with the Company. He is a member of the Travelers Executive Leadership team supporting the activities of the Travelers Foundation and other initiatives supported by the Foundation.
Prior to joining Travelers, Brian was an audit partner at Arthur Andersen LLP serving insurance clients such as Hartford Financial Services Group, Aetna Inc. and United Health Group during his 16 years with that firm. Brian served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, graduated from The University of Connecticut with a BS in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Connecticut Society of CPAs. Brian resides in Kensington with his wife Anne and their 2 children that graduated from Avon Old Farms and are currently attending Colby College in Waterville, ME.

Galo A. Rodriguez, MPH, President and Chief Executive Officer
Until Galo Rodriguez was appointed to lead the Village as President and CEO in June 2006, his career included positions of leadership with Catholic Charities, the Institute for the Hispanic Family, the Hartford Street Youth Project and the Hispanic Substance Abuse Program. “My vision for the Village is to assure that the most vulnerable children and families have access to and benefit from quality and culturally competent services. I welcome the challenge of working together with the board, staff and community to continue making a life-changing difference in the lives of children and families,” he told the Board of Directors. Dr. Rodriguez has a Masters in Public Health from the University of Connecticut and received his training and licensure as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cartagena in his native Colombia in 1981.

Edward E. Hackett, MBA, Chief Financial Officer
Financial services have been the focus of Ed Hackett’s work ever since college graduation. As Village CFO since 2008, Mr. Hackett brings to the Village his strong track record of building trust, influence and excellent working relationships. He expects to contribute to the success of a rapidly changing Village through strengthening core financial management systems and processes, as well as creating a long-term vision of fiscal strengths and operating efficiencies. Educated at the University of Connecticut, with an MBA from Brigham Young University in Utah, Mr. Hackett most recently served as CFO of Wheeler Clinic. He sets challenging personal goals for himself as well—he’s a finisher of the New York, San Diego, and Tucson marathons.

Hector Glynn, MSW, Vice President of Community, Family and Clinical Services
Hector Glynn, MSW, is Vice President of Community, Family and Clinical Services at The Village for Families and Children. He has extensive experience with the juvenile justice system and the needs of urban youth. Prior to coming to the Village, he was Executive Director of the Connecticut Juvenile Justice Alliance, where he led the way for major reforms in the Connecticut juvenile justice system’s policies and procedures. The Connecticut General Assembly (CGA) appointed Mr. Glynn to the CGA’s Juvenile Jurisdiction Planning and Implementation Committee. He also worked for Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of Hartford for ten years in the Youth Services Division, providing direct services, program coordination, and staff supervision. He holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Southern California and a Master in School Work from the University of Connecticut.
