JOB SUMMARY Assist Group Facilitator in the organizing and facilitation of group

PROGRAM Rambuh Family Center Nurturing Family Network , Adolescent Family Life, Brighter Futures Initiative

LOCATION  2 Holcomb St., Hartford, CT

REPORTS TO Person in charge of group

LENGTH OF SERVICE Year round 

DAYS/HOURS Wednesdays 10am-12 noon; Thursdays and/or Fridays 5:30-7:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Assist with group facilitation
• Arrive on time
• Communicate with RFC staff needs/concerns
• Keep attendance of class participants
• Give a pre and post test to assess their growth in class
• Give participants an evaluation form at end of class
• Give participants a certificate upon class completion

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to facilitate a group
• Preference given to previous participants who have completed the group activity
• A written reference (preferably  by your group facilitator)
• If a teenager, a written recommendation from the school guidance counselor and signed permission from your parent or guardian.
