BROWN RUDNICK CHARITABLE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES 2010-11 RELATIONSHIP GRANT RECIPIENTS

The Village was awarded a $15,000 grant to support a community based GED program for young women and adolescent girls. The services will be provided in the Gray Lodge building located in the Asylum Hill neighborhood of Hartford.  As part of the affiliation of the Village and Shelter for Women the historic Gray Lodge facility has been transformed to a serve gender specific population with expanded services under the direction of the Village; the facility is called CENTER FOR FAMILY LIFE.

After reviewing 135 letters of interest and considering 23 full proposals, the Brown Rudnick Charitable Foundation awarded 13 Relationship Grants to non-profit organizations in Boston, Hartford, Providence, New York and Washington D.C.  Click here to read the full article.
