The Village for Families and Children, Inc. is pleased to announce Elsa M. Nunez as a new member to its Board of Directors.  Elsa M. Nuñez, Ph.D. currently serves as the president of Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic. Prior to joining Eastern in August of 2006, Elsa served as the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs at the University of Maine. She is the author of Pursuing Diversity and has published articles in the areas of language acquisition, diversity, Hispanics in higher education, cultural differences in education, and retention.
