This past August, the Village for Families and Children, Inc. named Ms. Laurie Valentine as the agency’s first Director of Compliance and Privacy. 

Valentine will be providing leadership and training to agency staff in order to ensure that the operations and procedures of the Village are up to date, broadly communicated, and compliant with all regulations, policies and laws.  Ms. Valentine will also focus those compliance practices and activities in order to make sure that they are supportive of the Village’s goals in delivering high quality, efficient care for children and families. 

Ms. Valentine will report to Mark Kritzman, Senior Vice President of New Business Development. Laurie holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Connecticut.
