POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: We are currently looking for highly motivated, creative and energetic nurses to work in the Sub-Acute Unit (hospital step down unit).  Nursing responsibilities include:
Psychiatric and physical assessments
Coordination of medical and psychiatric care and follow ups
Supervision of medication administration staff
Work as part of an interdisciplinary team in developing treatment and after care plans for clients
Cross coverage to all other programs on campus  
Conduct medical trainings (DCF Medication Certification program, Epi-pen, etc)
Assist Medical Director and Supervisor of Nursing in the establishment and implementation of agency policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:  
State of CT RN licensure
Child & Adolescent Psychiatric experience required
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Bicultural abilities and cultural competency
