SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR

PROGRAM:    OUTPATIENT SERVICES                

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  Licensed alcohol and drug counselor to provide counseling services to urban adolescents and families in an outpatient setting.  Expertise in adolescent substance abuse, family treatment, crisis work, group work, and trauma treatment desired. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  LADC, licensed in State of Connecticut or eligible for licensing.  Familiarity with African American, West Indian and Latino-Puerto Rican culture required.  Bilingual/Bi-cultural (Spanish) strongly preferred. Clinical experience with adolescents required.
