SOCIAL WORKER II - IICAPS

 

PROGRAM:    Outpatient Mental Health Services - IICAPS   

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  Master's level clinician will provide intensive home based psychiatric crisis stabilization services to children, adolescents and their families.  Work as part of a team to develop, implement and monitor treatment goals and complete necessary program documentation.  Responsibilities include engagement, assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning, through weekly individual, parent and family therapy.  Crisis management, client advocacy, and collaborations with community resources are also required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

MSW/MFT/MA or PhD licensed in State of Connecticut or eligible for licensing.

Familiarity with Hartford community, cultural competency to serve targeted populations, and strong interpersonal skills desired.  

Commitment to Total Quality Management. 

Able to function safely in a therapeutic situations including provision of services in clients homes or host settings.
